WOW. This wedding rocked. Lets start by saying HUGE thanks to Jo and Adam for letting us photograph their amazing wedding!
As you can see from the first sentence, this wedding was just amazing. Adam and Jo’s marquee wedding Sheffield had everything. Rustic countryside pub, check. Vintage marquee in the middle of a field, check. Handmade super cool wedding details, check. The list could go on for a very long time but quite honestly this wedding had it all.
We first met Jo and Adam a few weeks before their wedding day, we headed out to Kelham Island for a meet up and a bit of a chat our what was going to be happening on their big day. We could tell straight away that this wedding was going to be right up there with the best weddings of the year. For them it was all about having a good knees up with real ale, cracking music and all their family and friends. They definitely didn’t let us down.
To start the day Jo got ready at the Hilton Double Tree on the way to Chesterfield from Sheffield. After she had got all her glad rags on it was time to head on over to Weston Park Bandstand slap bang in the middle of the city. We have been lucky enough to photograph quite a few weddings there and its right up our street. Generally outdoor wedding ceremonys have a really nice vibe. If it’s a sunny summers day you just cant beat getting hitched under the sun. Luckily for Jo and Adam, no rain. Whoop.
Following on from the ceremony we headed across to the Marquee. The marquee was situated right next to The Cricket Inn in Sheffield and as the name suggests. A bowl away from the Cricket Club. It was a really corker of a location.
With the marquee dressed to the nines with homemade details everything just looked awesome. Pub benches and an opened out marquee meant the entire day had a real outdoorsy feel. The special touches that theses guys went to made all the difference and everything/everyone was a pleasure to photograph.
After all the speeches were said and done it was into The Cricket Inn for a good old dance along to a cool rock band. They nailed it. Everybody let their hair down, hit the dance floor and brought their crazy dance moves. Boy what a wedding.
Huge thanks again for Jo and Adam for inviting us along to be part of their wedding. We think the photos absolutely rock and im sure you do to!
